 **WHAT MATTERS MOST**

## What construction businesses need from their website

A one-of-a-kind website that proves capability, keeps projects current, and grows alongside the business.

01

### Your capability is judged before the phone rings

Prospects and tender assessors look at the website before the call and before the submission. Work that isn't there, or detail that's thin, drops confidence fast. Remedy builds construction and property websites that present real capability clearly, so the right impression is already made.

02

### Updates should be easy for your team

Project status changes and availability shifts constantly, and the person managing the website this year probably wasn't doing it last year. Remedy builds the site so the team can publish projects and update availability without technical help. Training is included, and it's refreshed when staff change.

03

### Built to grow with your business

Projects evolve and developments expand. The website should adapt without a full rebuild every few years. Remedy designs flexible structures that stay consistent as new projects are added, and supports the site long after launch.

A Closer Look

## Featured website:
*Brightwood Baldivis*

Brightwood Baldivis is a land estate developed by Parcel Property, a WA-based land developer building residential estates across the Perth metro area. The estate sits in Perth's southern corridor, selling house and land packages and individual lots to families looking to build. Parcel Property came to Remedy in September 2023 needing a website that could keep pace with an active release, where availability changes daily and buyers do most of their research on mobile.

### **THE CHALLENGE**

- Active availability needed to stay accurate without manual updates falling behind
- The mobile experience wasn't converting the research traffic being generated
- Lot data was spread across multiple plugins with no single source of truth

### **WHAT WE DID**

- Consolidated all lot data into a single point of truth
- Built a real interactive map plotted to actual lot coordinates
- Built a custom Craft CMS module to sync CRM data automatically
- Applied a consistent design system across the site
- Trained the team so updates never depend on Remedy

### OUTCOMES

 23%

Increase sessions

 6.42%

lower bounce rate

 4%

longer average session duration

Typical construction and property website projects take 12 to 16 weeks. The most common bottleneck is project content and photography. Often times it is faster if all content is ready to go.

 **FAQS**

## Common questions about construction websites

  ![CEREMONY 106 }}](https://remedystudio.com.au/assets/uploads/images/CEREMONY-106.webp) ![CEREMONY 106](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhwgEBAPAAAP///yZFySH5BAEAAAEALAAAAADCAQEAAAIThI+py+0Po5y02ouz3rz7D4ZTAQA7)

### Can a website help with tender submissions?

Yes, by presenting finished projects in enough detail for an assessor to review quickly. A generic portfolio page doesn't do this. Detailed, current project pages give assessors what they need to make an informed decision. The outcome of any individual tender still depends on the submission and the business behind it.

---

### What makes a construction or property website different from other business websites?

It carries more weight than most business sites because it does double duty: presenting capability to prospects and assessors, and operational infrastructure for running the current one. Availability, project status, and capability all need to stay accurate at the same time, not just look good.

---

### Does the website need to work for land sales, home builds, and construction projects all at once?

Not always the same business, but the underlying need is the same: a structure the team can update themselves, whether that's a finished build, a land release, or an ongoing construction project. The content type changes. The requirement for accuracy and ease of management doesn't.

---

### Does this work for civil contractors and subcontractors too?

Yes. A civil contractor or subcontractor competing on tenders has the same need as a head contractor or developer: a clear, detailed record of completed work an assessor can review quickly. The site doesn't need to be large, it needs to present capability accurately and stay current as new projects finish.

---

### Who owns the website once it's built?

The business does. Domain, hosting, content, and the Craft CMS licence all sit in the client's name. Nothing about the setup creates dependence on Remedy to keep running or to move the site elsewhere if that's ever the right call.

---

### How does a website support winning new work?

Prospects and tender panels look at recent, detailed project pages before making a shortlist decision. A site that presents finished and current work clearly gives them what they need to make that assessment, kept up to date by the team without delay. For businesses selling land or new homes, the same content structure keeps availability accurate for buyers researching a specific release.
