Ngarlawangga

The Opportunity

Ngarlawangga Aboriginal Corporation represents over 6,000 km² of Pilbara Country as the Registered Native Title Body Corporate. Their work spans heritage management, land access, and community liaison, all requiring a clear, reliable way to share information across vast distances.

The organisation wanted a website that could make their work visible and accessible while upholding Ngarlawangga cultural values. It needed to be easy to manage internally, accessible from remote areas, and respectful of community protocols around imagery and information.

Together, we focused on creating a digital foundation that could strengthen communication, reflect identity, and operate with independence.

The Remedy Approach

The project was shaped through close collaboration — built with care, guided by cultural insight, and designed for long-term stability.

Intuitive to use
secure and flexible, enabling staff to manage updates directly.
Mobile-first build
Ensuring accessibility for remote users and low-bandwidth connections.
Culturally informed design
visual language inspired by local flora and Country.
Training and documentation
Empowering the team to manage their website with confidence.

Every element was designed for quiet reliability — technology that supports cultural integrity and operational independence.

The Results

Ngarlawangga Aboriginal Corporation now has a digital home that feels professional, culturally grounded, and accessible.

  • Independent management: staff can publish news, notices, and projects with ease.
  • Consistent accessibility: reliable performance across mobile and regional networks.
  • Cultural integrity online: protocols for imagery and language built directly into the system.
  • Clear communication: partners and community members can now access accurate information anytime.

The website stands as a lasting digital foundation — one that honours Ngarlawangga Country, strengthens connection, and supports the organisation’s ongoing work across the Pilbara.
